  • Effect: downregulates nervous system, produces calming effect
  • Outcome: achieves stable state, reducing stress, anxiety, and pain

Types of Meditation

  • Silent meditation
  • Breathing meditation
  • Guided meditation
  • Body scan meditation
  • Walking meditation
  • Loving-kindness meditation

In our program, we will be going over some of these types of meditations and practicing them. However, please ensure you practice silent meditation & breathing meditation on your own. Here are a couple samples of each, and there are further resources listed in the section below.
